This post is a copy of the Newsletter that I am sending out this week to my subscribers, but it contains so much much good stuff and juicy info about what is coming up in 2019 that I wanted you all to know. Mostly, we will be getting our house ready to put on the market.
|Welcome to 2019! We have some pretty exciting news here to tell you. We are moving!! After 15 years in our current home, we are packing it all up and starting over. We have raised our kids here, along with donkeys, horses, goats, rabbits, chickens, frogs, and even a spider.
As you can imagine after 15 years in one place we have accumulated some (I mean a lot) of stuff. My son is going into the Marines at the end of this school year. (My baby a Marine, sniff, sniff) So in addition to just moving, we will be starting our life as empty nesters. I have always been up for a good adventure, and I am looking forward to this one. What does all this mean for you? Well, in my other life I am a Real Estate Agent, so I have a lot to share about getting a home ready to put on the market. I will be going through my home one room at a time and sharing tips for organizing prior to a move, as well as making a room ready for showing. For some areas that will mean doing quick and inexpensive updates, and for other areas, I will be completely making over rooms. I am excited to be able to share these room renovations with you. The goal date for putting the sign in the yard is September 1 .I am going to be starting with the Master Bedroom and bath. In the Master we will be taking out a built-in bookcase, putting down new flooring, cleaning out and organizing a closet. I will probably also be rearranging this room.Of course, I will have at least one if not more Seasonal decor items for you to make to brighten your home.
The Tool I will be Using
As I begin to get the house ready to sell I am going to be needing to come up with a plan. Some of the parts are like those puzzles we played with as kids where you slide the squares around. To move some you have to move another first.
Need the link to the planner again? Here ya go.
Till next time…
